The brief for this project was presented as a form study, it required me to redesign a handle of choice to be an ergonomic and atheistic, organic form. It was specified that the shaft must be exposed at a point on the handle. Throughout this project I studied the ergonomics of the hand, made and tested numerous prototypes in different materials, until coming to my final bicycle handle design, which I then hand carved from wood and painted.
